Brihaspati Vrat Udyapan Puja

Brihaspati Vrat Udyapan Puja is the concluding ritual of the Brihaspati (Guru) Vrat, observed to honor Lord Brihaspati (Jupiter), the guru of the gods and symbol of wisdom, prosperity, and auspiciousness. After completing the prescribed number of fasts (usually on Thursdays), devotees perform the Udyapan to express gratitude and formally conclude the vrat. The puja includes worship of Lord Vishnu or Brihaspati, chanting of vrat katha, offering yellow foods, and distribution of prasad. Performing this ritual ensures fulfillment of desires, marital harmony, and spiritual upliftment.
